Privacy policy

Last updated October 2026 (early access draft).

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a hashed password.
• Store change events sent by the connector: plugin and theme installs, updates and deactivations, settings changes, PHP fatal error messages, and JavaScript error messages on checkout and payment pages.
• Order counts and totals (order numbers, amounts, status and currency), used to notice when orders stop or payments fail and to estimate revenue impact.
• Health checks: whether your store's pages respond, and how fast.

What we do not collect

No card or payment details, and no customer personal data such as your shoppers' names, emails or addresses. Card payments for Culpritly itself are handled entirely by Stripe.

How we use it

To detect problems, send you alerts by email or Slack, show your dashboard and improve the service. We do not sell your data.

AI processing

To explain an incident, error messages and the public code or changelog of the plugins involved may be sent to an AI provider for analysis. Your private store data beyond that is not used for this.

Processors

Stripe processes payments. Our hosting provider and email provider process data on our behalf to run the service.

Retention

Raw events are deleted after 90 days. Incident summaries are kept so you can review past problems. When you ask us to delete your account we delete your stores, events and incidents.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and a security cookie to protect forms. No advertising or tracking cookies.
